    Ingredients. Cut of beef: your choice. 1 tbsp butter Salt and pepper 3 Tbsp bacon rendering or other high temp oil. Seal in gallon ziploc bag using immersion method. Place in sous vide at 130.5 Go do something fun for 1.5 hours. Remove from bath and pull steak out of bag. Reserve juice for sauce if desired. Place on towel or paper towels and pat dry. Season generously with salt and pepper. Heat an iron skillet (or other heavy pan) on medium high and add oil. When oil is nearly smoking, sear all sides of the steak (about 30 sec per side). Place steak aside to rest. Put 1 tbsp butter on top to melt. Eat and enjoy.

    How well do you like Sous Vide vs pan seating or grilling? I’ve only tried it once and it was a good experience, but I am not sure if it was just how the host cooked it
