My mom's mutton keema is supremely popular in my extended family and among her friends, which I haven't had since a couple of years before I turned vegetarian (10 years). Don't know why it took me this long to try this out because it's so much easier to make and tastes just as good. My vegan take on my mom's popular mutton keema **Ingredients** 200g vegan minced meat 1 onion thinly diced 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste 4-5 tbsp oil 1tsp turmeric 1tbsp chilli powder 1tsp salt 1tbsp coriander powder 1tbsp garam masala (optional) 3-4 cloves 3-4 cardamom pods 1/2 cinnamon stick (split into pieces vertically) 10g cashew nuts A few leaves of cilantro for garnish **Preparation** Heat the oil and add the onions and ginger-garlic paste. As the onions are about to turn golden, add the rest and stir a bit. Turn off the heat after 10 min and garnish the keema with cilantro and serve with rice or roti. Edit: corrected the amount of oil used
