Tonight I made a plantbased version of sarma, a recipe that my mom had made me since I was small. I dig this dish so much that I had to veganize it!

    Sarma is traditionally made with cabbage leaves, but I wanted to make it a bit more colorful so I used Rainbow Chard. Stuffed inside each leaf is a mix of quinoa, rice, onion, cinnamon, nutmeg, dill, nutritional yeast, a flax egg, and beyond meat crumbles. It sounds weird as hell, but the flavor combo is sooo good. They're laid on a bed of zymbiotics fermented foods sauerkraut and covered in dairy free tomato soup {to be covered in tomatoey goodness even more before baking}
