I’ve made this recipe! I got it off of Pinterest. My picky 4 year old tore into these like a pit bull.

I would need to get a much wider, oblong slow cooker! My crock pot is round, and only holds 7 cups total!

This is seriously one of the simplest rib recipes I've seen. Sure they'd be better in a smoker but at the same time idk... That honey, soy, garlicky goodness wouldn't be there. I think that makes up for it. The color was beautiful too and you could tell how tender they were by how bare those bones were. I already know the Q masters have arrived to educate us on this abomination. Let the comment wars commence...

With the left over marinade. Bring it to boil and then simmer for 10- 15 min. Add a little bit of cornflour to make a thicker sauce.

They dont look like that out of a slow cooker. They are mushy, greasy and gross. Sesson with a rub or your favorite seasonings then slow cook on the grill or smoker. Slow and low. When cooked until tender and pulled back from the bones add your favorite sauce. Grill a few more minutes to caramelize the sauce and enjoy.

I do this all the time because of where I live I do not have easy access to a pit/grill and you πŸ’― can make them identical to low and slow bbq. If you want it to have a nice bark just don’t put liquid on the actual ribs, put a small amount of broth at the bottom to retain moisture and cook for 8 hours. If you want too you can put a little bbq sauce on it and put it under the broiler to get it nice and crispy. It legit comes out just as good as on the grill maybe even better.

Not everyone has access to a grill or a smoker? πŸ™„ I’ve cooked ribs in a slow cooker plenty of times that were delicious. Be open minded. There isn’t one set way to cook food or ribs for that matter. If you don’t want to cook it in a slow cooker then DONT.

I’ve cooked ribs in a slow cooker a few times. The meat is always tender and fall off the bone. As a matter of fact, it’s hard to keep it on the bone. That said...they always taste like BOILED ribs with virtually no flavor imparted from the seasoning INTO the meat! If you are not grilling in a smoker or on a grill...what’s the point?

During the Winter I cook my babybacks in the oven loosely covered with foil for two and a half hours on 335 degrees. Then the foil is removed and barbeque sauce with onions are spread on them. Put the ribs back in the oven without the foil for 45 more minutes. Delicious!!

Put them on a tray when you pull them and put the sauce on top and throw it in the oven on broil for a couple minutes. Really makes that sauce stick

I love cooking ribs in crockpot. I try to be careful about overlooking though as they will fall apart. Then i broil in high for about 5-10 minutes for a little crunchy top.

I cook my ribs in the crock pot for like 10 hours and then I take them out (if they can even stay together for how tender they areπŸ˜‰) and then I pop them on a baking sheet and smother a layer of bbq sauce on them and put them in the oven for like 10 minutes to get the sauce good and stuck on the meat! Amazing every time.
