Philly Cheese steak stuffed peppers

    Super easy recipe! 4 net carbs per serving. Serving size is one half pepper. I used Steakumms brand frozen steaks but any super thin steak slices would work. Sometimes it’s called ‘minute steak’. Sauté half an onion, sliced, until translucent. Add steak to the pan and cook until no longer pink. Slice bell peppers in half and remove seeds. Fill each half pepper with steak, onions, and cover with a slice of cheese. I used provolone. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 425. This leads to a pepper that still has some crisp. If you want softer peppers, add a little water to the bottom of the pan and cover with foil so they’ll steam and soften. Enjoy!
